The statement said the attack precisely targeted helicopter maintenance facilities, helicopter and aircraft fuel tanks, and the command building, causing serious damage. Iran stated that a fierce fire broke out at the base after the attack, with large amounts of black smoke rising, visible from a distance. The US has not yet responded.
