Stablecoin Market

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) has proposed a new rule to establish Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and sanctions compliance standards for stablecoin issuers under its supervision. According to The Block, Falcon Finance has hired Anchorage Digital to issue a new payments stablecoin, fUSD, which complies with GENIUS requirements and is backed by short-term U.S. Treasury securities, cash, and Treasury-backed repurchase agreements. Falcon stated that fUSD is a regulated version of its existing synthetic stablecoin USDf. SoFi launches SoFiUSD stablecoin to its banking app users.
