Regarding claims by some countries that they are attempting to ease regional tensions or mediate between Iran and the United States, Moghaddam stated that no direct or indirect negotiations have taken place, a situation inconsistent with US President Trump's statements. He pointed out that friendly countries are indeed communicating with all parties to promote an end to the conflict, but this does not mean that Iran and the United States have begun negotiations; rather, it is creating conditions for dialogue between the two sides.
