Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan: Friendly countries are communicating with all parties, but Iran has not started negotiations with the United States.

PANews reported on March 25 that, according to a report by Cailian Press, a CCTV reporter learned that Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Moghaddam stated in an interview on the 25th that the United States should be held responsible for its "betrayal" in negotiations, and emphasized that Iran respects the efforts made by friendly countries to stop the conflict. Moghaddam stated that, unlike the United States, Iran has always advocated resolving differences through dialogue. However, after the US's "betrayal of diplomacy," Iran defended itself against "foreign aggression." Regarding claims by some countries that they are attempting to ease regional tensions or mediate between Iran and the United States, Moghaddam stated that no direct or indirect negotiations have taken place, a situation inconsistent with US President Trump's statements. He pointed out that friendly countries are indeed communicating with all parties to promote an end to the conflict, but this does not mean that Iran and the United States have begun negotiations; rather, it is creating conditions for dialogue between the two sides.
