PANews reported on March 25th that Strategy Inc. is hiring a Bitcoin Security Director to oversee internal and industry-wide Bitcoin security projects. This role will act as the lead architect and external liaison for Bitcoin security, coordinating with cybersecurity, finance, legal, and senior management teams to develop and refine Bitcoin protocol and network security, key management, wallet and custody architecture, threat intelligence, and contingency strategies. Candidates are required to have at least 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, cryptography, or distributed systems, possess in-depth knowledge of Bitcoin protocol and custody security, and be able to deliver actionable security recommendations to management and the board, while also fostering industry-wide security collaboration mechanisms with exchanges, custodians, asset managers, and core developers.
