Anza introduces the Constellation protocol, enabling a 50-millisecond block cycle and a multi-concurrency proposer mechanism.

PANews reported on March 26th that, according to SolanaFloor, Anza, the core development team of Solana, has launched the Constellation protocol, a multi-concurrent proposer protocol that reduces Solana's block cycle to 50 milliseconds, making it the blockchain with the fastest economic takt time at the protocol level. This protocol replaces the single-leader model, eliminating exclusive control over transaction inclusion and ordering through concurrent proposers, enforcing fairness at the protocol level without relying on trusted third parties or modifying clients, while keeping the validator economic model largely unchanged.
