EY launches blockchain privacy sandbox to lower the barrier to entry for enterprises developing ZK privacy contracts.

PANews reported on March 29th, citing Prnewswire, that EY has announced the launch of the EY Blockchain Privacy Sandbox, providing enterprises and developers with a web-based development environment to build and test privacy-preserving smart contracts on EVM-compatible public chains. Based on the open-source zero-knowledge proof compiler Starlight, the sandbox can transform Solidity contracts into privacy applications without requiring a local environment and provides sample projects to accelerate development and verification, significantly lowering the barrier to entry for enterprises experimenting with privacy technologies. EY's Global Head of Blockchain stated that this initiative aims to enable enterprises to effectively verify the feasibility of privacy applications before large-scale deployment, promoting the widespread adoption of privacy innovation.
