PANews reported on March 30th that, according to The Korea Herald , Naver announced a postponement of its subsidiary Naver Financial 's full share swap transaction with Dunamu by approximately three months. The shareholders' meeting date has been changed from May to August 18th , and the transaction closing date has been postponed from the end of June to September 30th . Naver stated that the adjustment is mainly due to changes in relevant licensing approvals and regulatory frameworks, and the relevant review and licensing processes are still underway. This share swap aims to further integrate Dunamu, which operates a mainstream cryptocurrency exchange, into the Naver financial ecosystem, strengthening its digital finance and digital asset business layout to cope with increasing competition in the global digital asset market.
Naver postpones its share swap deal with Dunamu until the third quarter.
