Aave founder responds to Chaos Labs' exit: We will continue to adhere to the two-tier economic risk management model and support LlamaRisk's takeover.

PANews reported on April 7 that Aave founder Stani Kulechov responded to Chaos Labs' decision to withdraw from its risk management role in the Aave DAO, thanking them for their contributions over the years and stating that the smart contracts, asset lists, and network deployment of the Aave protocol will not be affected.

Stani emphasized that Aave will continue to adhere to its two-tiered economic risk management model, with LlamaRisk and Aave Labs sharing risk management responsibilities. Aave supports increasing Chaos Labs' risk management payments to $5 million, but did not support proposals such as making them the sole risk manager, replacing Chainlink oracles, and adopting unaudited Chaos Labs Vaults.

Furthermore, Stani stated that Aave V4 introduces an independent risk market and more granular governance parameters, further enhancing risk management capabilities. Going forward, Aave Labs will work closely with LlamaRisk to ensure a smooth transition in the protocol's risk management.
