PANews reported on April 7 that Canadian publicly traded SOL Strategies Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire the assets of Darklake Labs, a company specializing in Solana-native zero-knowledge technology, for $1.2 million, including $200,000 in cash and $1 million in common stock. Darklake has developed Zyga, a Solana-based zero-knowledge proof system that enables private transaction execution and prevents front-running and sandwich attacks. Following the transaction, Darklake's founding team, including Vitor Py Braga (technical lead from Meta and IBM), Amber Hales (with Coinbase compliance experience), and Tiago Alves (responsible for ZK research), will join SOL Strategies, and their technologies will be integrated into their Solana infrastructure and product development.
