GoPlus Warning: Google Search Ads are phishing traps; malicious websites are masquerading as google.com domains.

PANews reported on April 10th that, according to a GoPlus warning, some community users reported that when searching for "Pancakeswap" on Google, the top search result redirected them to a phishing website under the google.com domain. GoPlus' investigation found that attackers deployed phishing websites using hosting platforms such as Google Sites and prominently featured the phishing links in search engine ads. Users visiting malicious websites may lower their guard because they see the google.com top-level domain in the address bar, thus falling into the phishing trap. GoPlus advises users to carefully identify ad logos and website addresses, verify them through official documentation or social media, remember the "four no's" principle (don't click on unfamiliar links, don't install unknown software, don't sign up for unknown transactions, and don't transfer money to unverified addresses), and install security plugins to block phishing links and risky transactions in real time.
