PANews reported on April 11 that oracle service Pyth announced the official launch of its data marketplace, Pyth Data Marketplace, and secured support from six major financial institutions as data publishers. These institutions include Euronext, Exchange Data International, Fidelity Investments, OTC Markets Group, FX Data (a subsidiary of SGX), and Tradeweb. Previously, these institutions primarily distributed data through traditional data providers and proprietary terminals.
Pyth Data Marketplace supports organizations in distributing various proprietary data, including macroeconomic indicators, over-the-counter (OTC) pricing, and foreign exchange benchmarks, while retaining data ownership, pricing rights, and attribution rights.
