Iran's Foreign Ministry said it would not accept the US proposal "in its entirety".

PANews reported on April 15 that an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that the US had presented Iran with a comprehensive package of demands and hoped for Iran's "complete acceptance," but the US was well aware that "this is impossible" and did not conform to the logic of negotiation and dialogue. The spokesperson stated that Iran had previously submitted 10 ceasefire terms to the US through Pakistan in response to the so-called US "15-point ceasefire plan." The spokesperson said that with the participation of the Persian Gulf littoral states, Iran was fully capable of guaranteeing security in the Middle East, provided that the US ceased military intervention and provocations. Any intervention from outside the region would only complicate the issue. Many European countries wisely avoided falling into a US military trap.
