Giovanni Cunti, CEO of Gate Technology Ltd., speaks at Paris Blockchain Week: Accelerating the Construction of Stablecoins and AI-Driven Global Networks

PANews reported on April 16th that Giovanni Cunti, CEO of Gate Technology Ltd., attended the 2026 Paris Blockchain Week yesterday and participated in a roundtable discussion on "Connecting Markets: The Role of Exchanges and Stablecoins." He stated that Gate is accelerating its evolution from a traditional trading platform to a provider of full-stack Web3 financial infrastructure, integrating capabilities such as custody, collateralization, 24/7 settlement, and bank interconnection to build an integrated architecture connecting traditional finance with on-chain markets.

Giovanni Cunti also discussed stablecoins, emphasizing that they will be one of the fastest-growing sectors in the global financial system, playing an increasingly prominent role in improving payment efficiency and promoting market integration, while enhancing market trust as regulatory frameworks gradually improve. Based on this trend, Gate Technology Ltd, a Maltese subsidiary of Gate, has obtained a MiCA license from the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) and simultaneously holds a Payment Institution (PI) license granted by the MFSA, becoming one of the earliest crypto-native companies in Europe to receive this level of regulatory approval.

Furthermore, Giovanni Cunti mentioned that the integration of AI and blockchain is accelerating, and Gate has already taken the lead in deploying AI Agent-related capabilities, with plans to expand into more application scenarios. Through participation in this Paris Blockchain Week series of exchanges, Gate is deepening industry cooperation and expanding global dialogue, while continuously improving its infrastructure capabilities in key areas such as stablecoins, compliant connectivity, and AI integration, thereby enhancing its core hub position in connecting traditional finance and the Web3 ecosystem.
