PANews reported on April 17 that Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh stated that Iran will not accept any form of temporary ceasefire and demands a complete end to the conflict across the entire region. Speaking to reporters during the 5th Antalya Diplomatic Forum, Khatibzadeh said that any ceasefire must cover all conflict zones "from Lebanon to the Red Sea," which is a "red line" for Iran. He emphasized, "We will not accept any temporary ceasefire," and the cycle of conflict must be "completely ended."
