PANews reported on April 21 that Dr. Han, founder and CEO of Gate, delivered a speech at the main stage of the Hong Kong Web3 Carnival, focusing on the theme "Move Everything On-Chain" and sharing his insights on future industry trends.
In his speech, Dr. Han argued that on-chain technology is not an option, but rather a form of financial system. He stated that blockchain is evolving from a technological tool into financial infrastructure, and its significance lies not in creating new asset classes, but in reshaping how assets are generated, circulated, and priced.
He further pointed out that the on-chain system brings not only efficiency improvements, but also a restructuring of the traditional financial structure: assets can flow more frequently and transparently, and the boundaries between trading and clearing are significantly compressed. In this process, the logic of the financial system is also changing, gradually shifting from the classification of "crypto vs. traditional" to a structural difference of "whether it is on-chain or not".
In light of this trend, Dr. Han stated that Gate will continue to advance the integration of on-chain capabilities with multi-asset systems, strengthen asset access, liquidity and management capabilities, and explore more efficient value transfer paths to address the new demands brought about by the evolution of financial structures.
