Tornado Cash developer Storm's lawyer says acting Attorney General's comments offer no hope for the case.

PANews reported on April 28 that crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett posted on the X platform that she asked the defense team whether Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche's remarks at the Bitcoin conference offered any hope for Tornado Cash developer Roman Storm's case. Storm's lawyer, Keri Curtis Axel, stated no, adding that the Justice Department's claim of "changing the game" while continuing to prosecute Storm is unreliable. Axel also refuted Blanche's claim that the case could be escalated to the highest levels of government.

Previously, the acting U.S. Attorney General stated that developers who do not assist in crimes will not be prosecuted.
