The Avalanche Foundation launches a research grant program focusing on token economics and validator mechanisms.

PANews reported on May 1st that the Avalanche Foundation announced the launch of its Call For Research Proposals program, open to academic researchers worldwide. Each grant offers up to $50,000 and will primarily support research related to Avalanche network economics, focusing on two core areas: first, crypto asset pricing and valuation, with a focus on how native assets on PoS public chains accumulate value, including the relationship between token issuance mechanisms, monetary policy, network adoption, and long-term value; and second, validator economics and cybersecurity, with a focus on issues such as the highest staking ratio, validator reward models, validator pool health, and non-inflationary reward mechanisms.
