Cryptocurrency trading platform Bullish has reached an agreement to acquire Equiniti for approximately $4.2 billion.

PANews reported on May 5th that, according to the Wall Street Journal, cryptocurrency exchange Bullish has reached an agreement to acquire transfer agent Equiniti for approximately $4.2 billion (including debt) to advance its tokenization strategy. The deal is expected to close in January, subject to regulatory approval. Equiniti currently serves nearly 3,000 publicly traded companies, including well-known names such as Berkshire Hathaway and Moody's.
