Reform UK leader Farage says no need to declare $6.7 million personal gift from Tether billionaire.

PANews reported on May 6th that, according to Decrypt , Reform UK leader Nigel Farage stated that his $ 6.7 million (£ 5 million) personal gift from Tether shareholder Christopher Harborne was "unclaimed" and had been "reviewed from all legal angles." Farage claimed the gift was for his personal safety and occurred before his decision to run for Parliament. Harborne also donated £ 12 million to Reform UK , including £ 9 million, the largest single personal political donation in British history. The British government had previously halted cryptocurrency political donations based on a Rycroft report, fearing they could be used to transfer funds overseas. Harborne's donations were all in non-cryptocurrency form.
