PANews reported on May 12 that online education platform Coursera announced the completion of its merger with Udemy, forming a new unified skills learning platform. The merged platform reaches over 290 million learners, 18,000 enterprise clients, and approximately 95,000 content creators, offering over 315,000 courses. Partners include numerous universities and industry organizations. The official statement said that accounts, subscriptions, pricing, and contract terms on Coursera.org and Udemy.com remain unchanged for now. Technical integration will not be conducted on the first day; instead, the course catalogs and AI tools will be gradually unified to provide individuals and businesses with an integrated service from skills discovery and learning to certification.
