PANews reported on May 13th that Simon Gerovich, CEO of Metaplanet, a Japanese-listed Bitcoin treasury company, stated on the X platform that the company's revenue for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 was 3.08 billion yen (approximately US$19.52 million), a year-on-year increase of 251%; operating profit was 2.27 billion yen (approximately US$14.39 million), a year-on-year increase of 283%; and the operating profit margin was 73.6%. The Bitcoin yield was 2.8%, and total assets were 402.96 billion yen (approximately US$2.55 billion), a quarter-on-quarter decrease of 12.1%. The full-year performance forecast remains unchanged, with a revenue target of 16 billion yen (approximately US$101 million) and an operating profit target of 11.4 billion yen (approximately US$72.25 million), representing year-on-year increases of 80% and 81%, respectively.
Metaplanet reported first-quarter revenue of approximately $19.52 million, a year-over-year increase of 251%.
