Anchorage and Grupo Salinas reach stablecoin cross-border payment cooperation agreement

PANews reported on May 13 that, according to The Block, Anchorage Digital has partnered with Grupo Salinas, owned by Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego, to provide it with USD stablecoin settlement infrastructure to optimize cross-border payment processes.

According to the agreement, Coinpro, Grupo Salinas' crypto business, will be integrated with Anchorage's stablecoin payment network to enable real-time, programmable cross-border USD settlements via blockchain, while meeting the compliance, security, and governance requirements of large financial institutions.
