PANews reported on May 15th, citing Bits.media, that the Moscow Exchange is in discussions with brokers regarding the launch of a cryptocurrency trading model. Experts predict that cryptocurrency trading in Russia will be similar to other exchange tools, but with extended trading hours to 24/7. Currently, the Moscow Exchange is exploring a 24/7 model, but the final decision depends on the clearing and settlement operation. Furthermore, the Moscow Exchange is testing cryptocurrency deposit and withdrawal functions and has invited some brokers to participate in the testing. In the future, users will not be able to register cryptocurrency wallets directly on the exchange but will need to operate through a broker's digital custody account. The Moscow Exchange's press office stated that the platform "is actively developing solutions to serve the cryptocurrency market."
