THORChain suffered a suspected attack resulting in losses exceeding $7.4 million; trading on the protocol has been suspended.

PANews reported on May 15 that, according to ZachXBT, the cross-chain protocol THORChain was suspected of being attacked on the Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Base networks, with losses potentially exceeding $7.4 million.

THORChain community members reported on Discord that they detected unusual transaction activity originating from the TC Router and subsequently recommended that nodes execute a global emergency halt. The protocol has currently suspended transaction functionality.

The suspected attack addresses include:
