PANews reported on May 16 that, according to Coinglass data, a total of $80.89 million in positions were liquidated across the network in the past hour, including $77.11 million in long positions and $3.78 million in short positions. In addition, the amount of liquidated ETH reached $43.08 million and the amount of liquidated BTC reached $16.45 million.
Over $80 million in margin calls occurred across the entire network in the past hour, primarily affecting long positions.
