PANews reported on May 18th that, according to Onchain Lens monitoring, whales are buying HYPE. Whale "0xF56" sold 1733 XAUT at $4520, obtaining $7.83 million, and subsequently deposited 10.2 million USDC into HyperLiquid to buy 103,636 HYPE (approximately $4.7 million), opening a 5x long position in HYPE. Whale "0x688" deposited 4.87 million USDC into HyperLiquid and bought 102,055 HYPE at a price of $47.75.
Two whales collectively bought over 205,000 HYPE tokens, with one whale simultaneously opening a long position of 5 times its initial investment.
