Below is a step-by-step guide to participating and a first-hand experience gameplay summary.

Step-by-step tutorial

STEP 1. Enter the game interface (link: https://app.thebeacon.gg/season-one ), click "Sign in" to log in to your account via Web3 Wallet.

STEP 2. To facilitate your gaming experience, you need to download the game from the EPIC Store (or you can try it out on the web browser now).

STEP 3. Click "PLAY" to enter the game. Use "W, S, A, D" to move the character "up, down, left, right".

In addition, a "Starter Pack" can be purchased for $19.90, which includes rewards such as 2,000 Flash Coins and premium chests.

Operating Instructions

Currently, only two routes are available in the first season of Lighthouse. One is the "Dungeon" route, which involves going up from the main game screen. Players can clear dungeons to obtain Shadow Shards, which can then be exchanged for Shadow Chests.

Each entry into the dungeon costs 20 stamina points (users start with 100 stamina points). Weapons available are bows and daggers. Players earn Shadow Shards by completing dungeons.

Secondly, if you keep going right on the main game page, you'll find Kraken Klash. You can place a bet to guess which square will randomly appear. If you guess correctly, you'll receive Goblin Tokens as a reward (NPCs in Kraken Klash offer a conversion rate for Shadow Shards, Goblin Tokens, and Shimmer Coins).

Treasure Chests and Rewards

The first season's rewards are divided into cosmetics and BCN tokens . For free players, cosmetics are account-bound; for advanced players, cosmetics are NFTs, and players can become advanced players by purchasing the "Starter Pack".

In addition, chests are the primary source of rewards in Season 1, and there are 3 types of chests, specifically:

1. Umbra Chests: Obtained by collecting Shadow Shards. Chests contain decorative items and a small amount of BCN tokens as a reward.

Shadow Chests come in a free version and a premium version. In the free version, the probability of a Shadow Chest being a Common item is 59.06%; the probability of a Rare item is 30.94%; the probability of an Epic item is 8.00%; and the probability of a Legendary item is 2.00%. It also drops 1 to 3 cosmetic items.

In the premium version, the drop rate of treasure chests is the same as the drop rate of decorations, but you will also receive BCN tokens: 65% chance of getting 0 BCN; 25% chance of getting 1 BCN; 9% chance of getting 5 BCN; and 1% chance of getting 30 BCN.

2. Kraken Chest: Obtained by collecting Goblin Coins. The chest contains exclusive decorations and a large amount of BCN tokens as rewards.

Kraken Chests come in a free version and a premium version. In the free version, the probability of a Kraken Chest being a Common item is 37%; the probability of a Rare item is 44%; the probability of an Epic item is 13%; and the probability of a Legendary item is 6%. It also drops 3 decorative items.

In the premium version, the drop rates of chests based on their level are the same as the drop rates of accessories, but you will also receive additional BCN tokens: 37% chance of getting 5 BCN; 30% chance of getting 10 BCN; 22% chance of getting 21 BCN; 8.5% chance of getting 50 BCN; and 2.5% chance of getting 210 BCN.

3. Glint Chests: Obtained by collecting Glint Coins. Chests contain exclusive decorations and a large amount of BCN tokens as rewards.

The Shiny Chest is only available in its premium version. The probability of obtaining a Common item is 37%; a Rare item is 44%; an Epic item is 13%; and a Legendary item is 6%. It also drops 3 cosmetic items. Additionally, there is a 48% chance of obtaining 4 BCN; a 30% chance of obtaining 7 BCN; a 15% chance of obtaining 12 BCN; a 6% chance of obtaining 30 BCN; and a 1% chance of obtaining 100 BCN.

In general, there are four types of tokens in the game: Shadow Shards, Goblin Coins, Shiny Coins, and BCN Tokens. A stable way to earn rewards is by running dungeons to collect Shadow Shards and exchanging them for Shadow Chests. Participating in Kraken Klash is a game of "luck," requiring Goblin Coins (which can be obtained through Shadow Shards). Winning earns you more Goblin Coins, but losing means losing your initial investment; there is no guarantee of success.
