PANews, May 26 – Bitget announced the launch of Reality, a licensed financial protocol focused on the tokenization of Real-World Assets (RWA). Its tokenized stocks (rTokens) are strictly pegged 1:1 to underlying US stocks, with assets held in custody by a FINRA-registered, SIPC-protected US securities brokerage firm, and real-time reserve verification provided through independent third-party audits. By directly accessing liquidity pools of US stock exchanges such as Nasdaq and the NYSE, Reality's stock tokens achieve liquidity comparable to traditional brokerages. Simultaneously, stock dividends are distributed 1:1 to user accounts in token form, cash dividends are automatically converted to USDT, and stock splits and mergers are mapped to on-chain tokens in real time, providing an experience highly consistent with holding US stocks.
In addition, Reality's US stock token is deeply integrated with the Bitget ecosystem, such as being used as a unified account margin and being compatible with core product lines such as grid trading, copy trading systems, and staking lending.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen previously proposed the "10% Vision": currently, tokenized stocks account for only 0.1% of the $125 trillion global stock market, and she predicts that this proportion will rise to nearly 10% by 2030. Reality is built on this trend, initially focusing on US stocks, and will subsequently expand to other asset classes, driving Bitget UEX's strategy to extend to a broader global financial asset access layer.
