PANews reported on June 2nd that, according to a recent report by OpenAI, OpenAI Codex now boasts over 4 million weekly active users, more than five times the number when OpenAI launched its desktop application in February. The report shows that knowledge workers now comprise about one-fifth of OpenAI Codex users, growing at more than three times the rate of the developer community. Among knowledge workers, the fastest-growing task type is data analysis, with a week-on-week increase of 110%; research tasks increased by 37%; and knowledge asset-related tasks increased by 36%.
