IBM pledges to invest over $10 billion over the next five years, betting on fault-tolerant quantum computing.

PANews reported on June 2nd that IBM plans to invest over $10 billion in quantum computing over the next five years, focusing its research and development on large-scale fault-tolerant quantum computing. The company aims to build the world's first practically usable large-scale fault-tolerant quantum computer by 2029.
