Anthropic expands its "Glasswing" project, increasing the number of high-risk software security partners to approximately 200.

PANews reported on June 2nd that Anthropic announced the expansion of its Project Glasswing cybersecurity program's partner organizations from approximately 50 to approximately 200. About 150 new partners have joined, covering critical infrastructure and important open-source software maintainers in over 15 countries, spanning sectors such as power, water, healthcare, communications, and hardware. All partners must meet specific security standards before accessing Claude Mythos Preview for vulnerability scanning. Anthropic stated that a successful attack on most partners could potentially affect over 100 million people. It will continue to assist partners in discovering, disclosing, and remediating high-risk software vulnerabilities through tools such as Claude Mythos and Claude Security, and plans to gradually expand the security of Mythos-level cybersecurity capabilities to more organizations.
