PANews reported on June 8th that edgeX announced on its X platform that it has completed compensation distribution for users affected by the June 2nd incident. The plan covers eligible users who opened invoices on the edgeX Discord and confirmed that they suffered actual losses due to the liquidation or stop-loss of their EDGE long positions between 4:50 AM and 6:00 AM on June 2nd. Each user is entitled to a maximum compensation of 100,000 USDC, with 50% distributed in USDC and the remaining 50% distributed in EDGE tokens in the first week of April 2027, calculated based on the 7-day average price at the time of distribution. The final deadline for opening invoices is 2:00 PM on June 9th (Beijing time).
