Metaplanet CEO: Will consider share buybacks to maximize BTC yield if mNAV falls below 1x

PANews reported on June 9th that Simon Gerovich, CEO of the Japanese listed company Metaplanet, stated in an article on the X platform that BTC yield is a core KPI for the company, and capital allocation focuses on maximizing this yield for shareholders. Share buybacks are a core element of the company's capital allocation policy. When mNAV is below 1.0, the company will seriously consider buying back common stock to maximize BTC yield; the lower the mNAV, the greater the potential appreciation. Any buybacks are subject to insider trading and disclosure rules, and the company cannot comment on the specific timing, status, or execution of buybacks before appropriate disclosure.
