PANews reported on June 10 that US President Donald J. Trump posted on social media that Iran's military strength has fallen into "utter chaos," its navy and air force "virtually cease to exist," and that Iran has been completely defeated.

Trump stated that Iran "talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk," calling it a "bully in the Middle East." He criticized Iran for dragging its feet on negotiations, missing out on opportunities for deals that would have been favorable to it, adding that "it will now have to pay the price."
