Claude recommends that users switch to other models besides Fable 5 as soon as possible.

PANews reported on June 13 that Claude forwarded a ClaudeDevs announcement stating that due to a US government directive suspending all user access to Fable 5, this adjustment will impact some workflows, and users need to switch to other models as soon as possible. Currently, in Claude products, new sessions will default to the user-defined default model or Opus 4.8, and existing Fable 5 sessions will directly report an error and terminate.

In addition, all API requests to Fable 5 on the Claude Platform will also return errors, and developers need to migrate their integrations to other Claude models as soon as possible.
