PANews, June 18 – The Bank of England held its benchmark interest rate steady at 3.75% for the fourth consecutive meeting, in line with market expectations. The rate decision was passed by a 7-2 vote (compared with 8-1 last time). The Bank of England maintained its guidance that it is "ready to act" on inflation concerns.
