Ubisoft Co-Founder Claude Guillemot Dies in Plane Crash

PANews, June 20 – According to Sina Finance, Ubisoft announced on Saturday that its co-founder Claude Guillemot has passed away. The official statement read: "Ubisoft is deeply saddened to learn of the accidental death of Claude Guillemot, co-founder of the group and Chairman of Guillemot Corp. In this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. No further statement will be issued at this time."

It is reported that the 69-year-old Guillemot died on Friday in a plane crash in La Baule, a resort town on France's Atlantic coast, where an air show was scheduled to take place this weekend. He was one of two passengers aboard the twin-engine Cessna 421 aircraft. Both passengers died in the accident.
