PANews reported on April 9 that according to Jinshi, the General Administration of Customs issued an announcement that from 12:01 on April 10, 2025, an 84% tariff will be imposed on all imported goods originating in the United States on the basis of the current applicable tariff rate; before 12:01 on April 10, 2025, if the goods have been shipped from the place of departure and imported between 12:01 on April 10, 2025 and 24:00 on May 13, 2025, the additional tariffs will not be levied.
