PANews reported on October 23rd that a Ministry of Commerce spokesperson answered reporters' questions regarding the China-US economic and trade consultations: Following mutual agreement between China and the US, He Lifeng, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, will lead a delegation to Malaysia from October 24th to 27th for economic and trade consultations with the US. The two sides will discuss key issues in China-US economic and trade relations, in accordance with the important consensus reached in previous phone calls between the two heads of state this year.
