PANews reported on December 18th that Gate founder Dr. Han recently gave an interview to Wu Shuo, in which he stated that going public is not an option for top exchanges, but a mandatory one; exchanges that have never considered going public have questionable compliance. He further pointed out that the ability to go public largely determines whether a company is a "real company."
