PANews reported on June 9 that on-chain data showed that a user paid 39.15 ETH (about 99,467 USD) in gas fees to pledge 10.17 million USDC to Plasma, successfully becoming the first pledge address. In contrast, the number one address deposited 50 million USDC at a cost of only about 7.16 USD in gas.
