머니투데이에 따르면 카카오가 가상자산 플랫폼 '밀크'(MiL.K) 운영사인 밀크파트너스 인수설을 부인했다. 6일 카카오는 "밀크파트너스의 인수 및 투자를 검토한 적 없다"고 밝혔다. 이날 카카오가 이른 시일 내 밀크파트너스 지분 100%를 약 1000억원 이상에 인수하는 계약을 체결할 것이란 보도가 나왔다. 업계에선 카카오가 밀크를 인수해 자체 블록체인 플랫폼 '클레이튼' 활용도를 높일 것으로 내다봤으나, 사실이 아닌 것으로 나타났다.
