PANews 12月30日消息，据韩国先驱报报道，韩国执政党民主党议员李光宰正计划接受加密资产作为竞选捐款，并表示将于明年1月发行NFT作为此类捐款的收据。李光宰新闻办公室称，这是一个实验项目，计划接受1000万韩元（约合8400美元）的加密货币捐赠，每人捐赠上限为100万韩元（840美元）。捐赠的资产将在韩国加密交易所兑换为现金并按照政治捐赠法规使用。李光宰也成为首个接受加密货币政治捐赠的亚洲国家议员。
