PANews reported on April 12 that according to Cointelegraph, Lomond School in Scotland will accept Bitcoin for tuition payments starting in the fall semester of 2025, which is the first time in the UK. The school currently has no plans to accept other cryptocurrencies or immediately convert Bitcoin into legal tender. In the future, the school may establish a Bitcoin vault, but it needs to listen to the community's opinions.
