PANews reported on April 29 that according to The Block, Lombard has reached a cooperation with the Eigen Foundation to formally include its liquid pledged Bitcoin token LBTC into the EigenLayer re-pledge system. This cooperation enables Bitcoin holders to obtain basic income through the Babylon protocol and obtain additional rewards in EigenLayer. The two parties will jointly promote the security and penalty mechanism design of Bitcoin re-pledge in the next six months.
