CME launches XRP futures with $19 million in trading volume on first day, surpassing Solana’s listing performance

PANews reported on May 21 that according to The Block, CME Group launched XRP futures trading on May 19, with a nominal transaction amount of $19 million on the first day, exceeding Solana futures' performance of $12.3 million on the first day of March. XRP futures are the platform's fourth crypto derivative after BTC, ETH and SOL, offering two contract units of 2,500 and 50,000 XRP, with cash settlement.
