EOS创始人BM（Daniel Larimer）发推称， ProFi和EOS可以完全消除GameStop和Robinhood所揭示的问题。金融系统需要转移到可即时结算的智能合约（SmartContracts）上。此前消息，由于美股GameStop（GME）市场上演逼空事件，Robinhood、TD Ameritrade和Schwab等几个交易平台已宣布暂停买入GME股票，且仅允许出售来限制GME市场。
