纽约南区联邦检察官办公室指控澳大利亚公民Stefan He Qin涉嫌证券欺诈。Stefan He Qin是两家加密货币对冲基金Virgil Sigma Fund和VQR Multistrategy Fund的创始人。Qin通过其旗舰加密对冲基金窃取了近9000万美元。根据美国司法部发布的官方声明，Qin多年来通过Virgil Sigma Fund诈骗投资者，并于2020年12月试图从其VQR Multistrategy Fund中窃取资金支付Virgil Sigma Fund投资者。Qin已于2021年2月4日在美国地区法官Valerie Caproni面前认罪。据悉，Qin在2017年至2020年期间就加密货币对冲基金的表现向投资者传达虚假信息，并将大部分被盗资金用于奢侈品和投机性个人投资。（Finance Magnates）
