PANews reported on November 19th that US President Trump stated on social media that investment in artificial intelligence is helping the US become the world's "hottest" economy, but excessive regulation in various states is threatening this growth engine. Some states are even attempting to embed DEI ideologies into AI models, creating "awakened AI." He argued that they must have a unified federal standard, not a patchwork of regulations from 50 states. He added that they can do this in a way that protects children and prevents censorship. He suggested that this should be written into the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), or passed as a separate bill, and the US would forever be unrivaled.
