Former CFTC Chairman Advises Congress to Prioritize Stablecoin Regulation, Delay Market Structure Legislation

PANews reported on February 27 that according to CoinDesk, Timothy Massad, former chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), called on Congress to prioritize the development of a stablecoin regulatory framework and postpone discussions on crypto market structure legislation for several years. He believes that the current market structure proposals may exacerbate regulatory confusion rather than provide clear guidance.
